- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My daughter fell at school and needed stitches. The doctor in the emergency room was not friendly one bit. He said the stitches would dissolve on there own. A month went by. Still had stitches. They are not the kind that dissolve. They had to be removed. Wouldn't you think a doctor would know what kind of stitches he put in. This is not my first bad experience with Novant. They lost all my trust. Never will go back to a Novant again.October 20, 2017by Janet P
